A happy, handy and hardworking husband & wife team!We've been there. Saved up money, took out a loan, got excited - hired a contractor! And were left let down, frustrated, disappointed and broke... it was THE WORST experience.
So, we decided to turn our passion into a business, and make sure that doesn't happen to you.
Together, Kyle & Melissa have over 20 years of experience in the industry. They've renovated several homes with their own hands and physically know how to do it all. They only work with the best installers in town (and that doesn't mean the most expensive!)
Her creative design & timeless taste combined with his perfectionist oversight and quality execution, means every project they tackle together is not only painless for the client, but functional and beautiful.

Kyle, a born and raised Floridian from Tampa Bay, graduated from the University of North Florida with a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management & a Minor in Business Management. After interning at an Asphalt Plant, running equipment and material testing in a lab, he interned at Ajax, where he assisted on a 275 million dollar highway design build on I-275 through Tampa.
Before even graduating college, Kyle was offered a job at Whiting Turner as a Field Engineer and Project Manager. Though he worked on several projects while with WT, his shining accomplishments include helping manage and build two Restoration Hardware galleries; one in Tampa and the new RH Flagship store in West Palm Beach.
Wanting a more meaningful relationship with the end user of his builds, Kyle decided to pursue High-End Residential Construction. So, he joined Davis General Contracting as a Superintendent. There, he successfully managed several multi-million dollar renovations over 2 years, and even helped one client save 250K by making sure the installs were done right - the first time.
Kyle is very handy and has a love of carpentry. He enjoys building beautiful custom pieces for his home and his clients where needed. Kyle earned his General Contractor's License in 2019 and made the jump in 2021. He joined his wife and they've combined talents to build a new home renovation company of their own, Modern Manor.

Melissa, a born and raised Floridian from Lake Worth, graduated with Magna cum Laude honors from Florida State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design. After interning at an interior design company and an architectural firm in Tallahassee, she decided to start as a freelancer in Palm Beach. She has since designed a myriad of projects from Tampa, to Boca Raton, and now at home in Jupiter.
As a self trained drafter in BIM (build-in-model) technology software and Photoshop, Melissa can quickly turnaround new plans, elevations and 3D photorealistic images for her clients, making large scale or complicated plans manageable and easy to understand.
She is well versed with small, awkward areas, as well as large open rooms needing organization. She's an expert in functional layout design for all types of spaces, color psychology and any interior specifications for various tastes and styles, no matter how unique. Timeless design is her #1 goal.
In addition to layout and decorating, she's pretty handy herself and not afraid to get dirty to get the job done. Often installing window coverings, artwork and other decor herself, she also refinishes furniture and cabinetry, creates custom curtains, upholstery and pillows. She has installed several backsplashes, tile, drywall, and plank flooring, along with many other one-of-a-kind items for countless clients since 2012.
